The tea is Assam CTC from Brooke Bond's Taj Mahal Tea, held as the finest in India. With it, the gentle sweetness of red sugar, which sits well with chai, and a pinch of rock salt to draw the taste together. Pour milk, and you have the cup a specialist would serve.
The tea bag is Soilon, made from plant starch. Unlike ordinary materials it sheds no microplastics — gentler on the sea and on you. From the ingredients to the bag itself, everything is plant-derived. Each one is made by hand.
