Really Easy, Really Good Spicy Meatballs

|
Dishes we recommend for this recipe. |
Simple ingredients, a very easy method, and it tastes really good. These spicy meatballs are a dish we push hard.
When people hear “spicy”, many imagine “will it be hot?” or “I am not keen on a strong spice hit”. This is nothing like that. The flavour of Dish lifts the taste of the meat enormously. There is no pungent chilli component in it, so there is no heat at all, and children will happily tuck in.
Any number of Dish works here and we would like you to enjoy your favourite, but the Inspice kitchen team recommends Dish Symphony No.3. Do give it a try.
Ingredients (serves 2)
- Minced beef and pork mix: 300g
- Dish (flavour of your choice): 1/2 tsp
- Salt: 2.4g
- Grated cheese: 2 tbsp
*If you want to make a larger batch, simply double or triple the amounts above.
Method
- Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix together.
- Shape the mixture into balls of whatever size you like.
(Do not pack them too tightly — keep them light and loose.) - Pour oil into a frying pan, enough for the balls to be half submerged, and fry over medium heat, rolling them as they cook.
- Drain on kitchen paper, arrange on a plate, and it is done.
