About the shop
“Our treasure hunt. Our customers’ treasure hunt.” That is how the shop explains where its name comes from. A food select shop that seeks out producers all over Japan who make things with care, whether or not their names are widely known, and brings that work through to its customers.
From the seasonings you reach for every day to frozen prepared dishes, sweets and snacks for children. At weekends they sometimes hold tastings, on no fixed schedule.

Each ring, from the inside out, is one of the Inspice series this shop carries. The gaps in the rings and the length of the ticks are different for every shop, so no two prints are alike. The needle at the centre points toward our flagship store in Higashiyama, Kanazawa.
