日本海と河北潟にはさまれた高台の道の駅です。晴れた日は白山から立山まで見渡せて、名前のとおり夕日の名所として知られています。
館内のセレクトショップ「OTAKARA MARKET」には、石川の特産品や地元の野菜と一緒に、CHAInstantとカカオニブチャイ、the cocoa が並んでいます。海を眺めたあとの、おみやげ選びにどうぞ。
